Appearance
usually a simple object showing a human workmanship or modification as distinguished from a natural object.
Artifact
body language (defensive posture, arms-crossing, and leg-crossing) and posture (the position or bearing of the body whether characteristics or assumed for a special purpose) can convey certain information about how that person feels or thinks about the situation.

a set of standards or principles by which something may be judged or evaluated
Criteria
a person who inspires others with courage, spirit, or confidence.
Encourage
looking, staring, and blinking are important nonverbal behaviors.
Eye gaze
– the look on a person’s face responsible for a huge proportion of nonverbal communication; the facial expression for happiness, sadness, anger, and fear are similar throughout the world.
Facial Expressions
– someone or something that facilitates something; especially: someone who helps bring about an outcome by providing indirect or unobtrusive assistance, guidance, or supervision.
Facilitator
deliberate movements and signals; an important way to communicate meaning without words; include waving, pointing, and using fingers to indicate numeric amounts.
Gesture
communicating through touch; can be used to communicate affection, familiarity, sympathy, and other emotions.
Haptics
a person who introduces new methods, ideas, or products.
Innovator
person who attempts to make people involved in a conflict come to an agreement; a go-between.
Mediator
includes gestures, facial expressions, body positions, unspoken understandings and presuppositions, and culture and environmental conditions that may affect an encounter between people.
Nonverbal communication
the study of paralanguage; refers to vocal communication that is separate from the actual language; includes factors such as tone of voice, loudness, infections, and pitch.
