Goal
A desired outcome based on one’s value for which a plan of action is carried out.
Associate’s Degree Time

normally a 4-5 year degree (time will vary)

The more education you have the higher your income will be.
When to turn in FASFA
Submit the FASFA each October.
Grants and Scholarships
Money awarded in which you DO NOT have to pay back
Financial Aid
money lent to a person for their education
Private Loans
a non-federal loan made by a private vendor.
Subsidized vs Unsubsidized
S- For undergraduates who need financial aid
US- Financial aid is not required
Rule of Thumb
your total student loan debt should…. NOT exceed your expected first-year salary after graduating college.

The amount you owe to attend a school for instruction

Charges to cover special expenses, may vary.
Supplies
Vary by degree

Charges for living and dining (meal plan) on campus.
Transportation
Amount to cover the cost of commuting to campus.
Cover Letter
a letter or application that explains what you can do and how good you can do it. How well you fit the job.
