Social media marketing programs create content or offer special deals that encourage people to share this information with their social networks

A corporate message spreads from user to user and may have greater impact because it’s coming from a friend in your network, rather than from the company itself

Allows companies to receive direct feedback from customers which often results in product improvements

Give companies access to customers in specific market segments, such as the coveted 18 to 34 year old demographic, at a low cost per exposure

A klout score is a measure of your influence and impact on social networks it can be calculated using a combination of factors across seven different social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin, Instagram, Foursquare and Wikipedia.
