What are the interventions to reduce problem behavior in medical/ dental settings?
Building rapport
Offering choices
Embedding demands- preferred thing first
Discriminative stimulus for nonproblem behavior presented- Disney pics when dentist puts explorer in your mouth
Positive setting event introduced
Functional communication training (FCT)- take breaks
Delay of reinforcement- can break after certain activity
