Human
A being made in the image of God, who is capable of worshipping him.
Anthropology
The study of human societies and cultures and their development.
Freedom
The power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint.
Culture
The customs, arts, social institutions, and achievements of a particular nation, people, or other social group.
Community
A feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.
Communion
The sharing or exchanging of intimate thoughts and feelings, especially when the exchange is on a mental or spiritual level.
Solidarity
Unity or agreement of feeling or action, especially among individuals with a common interest; mutual support within a group.
Goodness
The quality of being morally good or virtuous.
Forgiveness
Accepting the fact that someone did something and did not intend for it to happen/happen poorly.
Catechism of The Catholic Church
A text which contains the fundamental Christian truths formulated in a way that facilitates their understanding. There are two categroeies of catechism: major and minor. A major catechism is a resource or a point of reference for the development of minor catechisms.
Sin
An immoral act considered to be a transgression agains divine law.
Vocation
A strong feeling of suitability for a particular career or occupation.
Disorder
A state of confusion.
Original Sin
The tendency to sin innate in all human beings, held to be inherited from Adam in consequence of the Fall. The concept of original sin was developed in the writings of St. Augustine.
Personal Sin
The willful disobedience to God’s will.
