What is the function of the barrel in a Bunsen burner?
The barrel is the place where air and gas is mixed.

What is a strike-back flame?
A strike-back occurs when there is too much air entering the air hole and the air hole is left fully opened during ignition. The gas burns near the air hole instead of burning at the top of the barrel.

Accuracy refers to the closeness of agreement between the measured value and the true value.
What is precision?
Precision refers to the closeness of agreement between the measured values of repeated measurements.
What is zero error?
Zero error occurs when the measuring instrument registers a reading when there should not be a reading.
What is parallax error?
Parallax error occurs as a result of not viewing the measurement scale from the proper position.
