It was the process of keeping the bodies in a life-like form. this was B/C the Egyptians believed that after you die you get to enjoy your afterlife doing hunting and activities that the person liked. and to do that you had to dry out the body and take out main organs and the brain except for the heart. b/c you needed to have your heart to pass through to the afterlife.

warlike people who were from Syria a Palestine invaded Egypt. The Hyksos had improved weapons like arrows and chariots.
the Egyptians didn’t have the new weapons and that brought to their attention that they needed to make better weapons and be better so that if another attack happened they could defend themselves
