What does the deposit of faith refer to?
A
It refers to the fact that originally people learned about God from the Bible, the Old Testament. After Jesus was born, people received his teachings. After he died, he commanded his apostles to teach others what they learned from him. After the apostles, we have the representatives of our Church; the Pope, the bishops, the priests.
