- Continental coastlines fit together like a jigsaw
- There are similar rocks on either side of the oceans which match when the continents are moved together
- Geological evidence of climatic change suggest that plates have moved

Test for finding the percentage of oxygen in the air?
A
100cm3 of air is passed through a syringe to another over copper.
The copper is heated with a bunsen burner. All the oxygen in the air reacts with the copper.
No air can get in or out of the system while the air is passes backwards and forwards between syringes.
After a few minutes, one the air has cooled back down, the volume of remaining air is recorded.
