Press MODE
• Select 2:STAT
• Select 1: 1-VAR
• If you need to add a frequency column to your table press SHIFT then MODE(SETUP). Click down through the menus until you reach one which has 3: STAT – at this point click 3. Then, select 1: ON
• Next, type the values into the table using the = button to enter them in. Use the arrow keys to select different cells in the table
• Press AC
• Press SHIFT then 1
• Select 4: Var
• Select 2: x̄ then press =
• This will give you the value of the mean for the data entered
• Press SHIFT then 1
• Select 4: Var
• Select 3: 𝝈𝒙 then press =
• This will give you the value of the standard deviation for the data entered
