Individual who moves across international boarders ins search of freedoms
Refugee
A person who has been forced to leave
Naturalization
-Have a green card
-Lived in the US for at least 5 years
-Read & Write Basic English
- Good moral character
- Pass citizen ship test
-Take oath of allegiance
Requirements for a President
-Natural born citizen
-Resident of the US for 14 years old.
-35 years or older.
Responsibilities includes?
Vote, be informed, Volunteer.
Duties includes.
Jury duty, School, Taxes, Selective service, Follow laws.
Rights include
Equality, Liberty , Security
Ways you could be a citizen/ Naturalized citizen of the US.
Permission to work, Citizen Parents, married to a citizen, seeking refuge, Born in the US
What is a misconception of the American revolution?
