Lessons and rules about good behaviours (teachings about right and wrong, our conscious)
Proverbial truth
short sayings of common sense wisdom (but he who sins against me injuries himself)
Symbolic truth
Poetic language used to emphasize a lesson (sheep to refer to man, snake refer to evil)
Religious truth
Believe and faith in Gods actions in our life (focus on our relationship with God in life)
Literal
every sentence is taken to mean exactly what it says (this is getting out of hand)
Contextual
the circumstances that form the setting for an event, statement, or idea
Bible
The Cristian scriptures consisting of the OT and NT
History
Records or accounts of past events
List
Series of names, events, or words, usually in order
Sermon
A serious speech based on a passage from the bible
Proverb
A book of thought provoking pronouncements principals and teachings
Letter
A written message
Prophecy
A prediction made under divine influence to warn people about the consequences of their actions
