What is the Class A Dress Uniform worn for?
Worn on non-emergency scene activities (may not be worn inside safety zone established by command).
Who determines other occasions to wear Class A Dress Uniform?
Fire Chief/Designee
Who wears Class B Dress Uniform?
Captains,emergency services line personnel and authorized Fire Prevention personnel.
Who wears Class C Dress Uniform?
Chief Officers, Chaplain, Fire Marshal/Asst Marshal, Captains, emergency services line personnel, Deputy Fire Marshal, Inspectors and Medical Directer (approved for non-emergency scene activities).
When are Brush Pants worn?
When wearing fatigue shorts, for abrasion protection and/or for body fluid-to-skin protection (not to be worn as normal wear inside station or in public places when not on calls).
When are Bunker Pants worn?
When involved in structural calls (SHALL NOT be worn on structural calls unless unavoidable).
When is Nomex Jump Suit worn?
By members of Fire Investigations, HALO, or Spec Ops during incidents.
When is Fatigue Uniform worn?
during normal duty activities, or during physical labor.
How will fatigue shorts be worn?
- shorts won’t extend below knee.
- worn with approved fatigue shoes (black)
- if member has cuts/open wounds on legs, not allowed to where shorts.
When is Brush Fire Uniform worn?
In operations that involve vegetation (mountain fires/field). Same as fire ops fatigue uniform, except boots will fatigue shoe or structural boot.
