A
Williams v Baley : young Man forged his fathers signature and presented them to the bank who discovered the forgery. At a meeting the bank threatened to prosecute the son unless arrangements were reached. The father entered into an agreement to mortgage his house to pay for the notes. The court held that the agreement was set aside as the bank had unfair advantage and the father didn’t enter the agreement voluntarily.
