  2. ) Services- are the resources you purchase 1st party or 3rd party
  3. ) Locations- some locations are cheaper than others for certain resources
  4. ) Azure Billing Zones- going in data vs. going-out data
    - “egress traffic/outbound traffic”

  • an app that is used to select VMs that are based on a “pay-as-you go model” and then take them down to an idle level of CPU storage.
  • You pay for a 1 year contract that is cheaper because you know the amount of data storage usages, and compute power will be idle for the next whole fiscal year.
  • you save money this way!!!!
