Missed approach
Outbound calls
Before taxiing (intentions)
Entering the runway
Starting the takeoff roll
Vacating the MBZ/CFZ
Speed restrictions
Below 9,500ft AMSL
200kts
At and below 5000ft AMSL
180kts
IFR separation (uncontrolled)
At least 1,000ft vertically and 10nm horizontally
IFR separation passing (uncontrolled)
If a visual pass cannot be achieved (day only), at least 5nm separation after the pass has occurred when the aircraft are on opposite direction tracks
IFR separation both arriving (Uncontrolled)
The following aircraft shall maintain an altitude of not less than 1,000ft above the missed approach altitude, until the preceding aircraft reports visual
IFR separation both departing (Uncontrolled)
At least 1 min separation provided the tracks do not cross and are at least 45° apart
At least 10nm separation if the tracks are separated by less than 45° but this may be reduced to a minimum of 1 min separation if at least 1,000ft vertical separation is maintained and the preceding aircraft is climbing to a higher altitude
IFR separation right of way (uncontrolled)
An arriving aircraft has right of way over a departing aircraft on the ground. When two aircraft are arriving, the lower aircraft has the right of way
Climbing through another aircraft’s level
If overtaking an aircraft and wishing to climb through its level, ensure you have passed by at least 5nm prior to climbing through its level
