which nerve(s) move when performing ULNT1?
A
radial, ulnar, median, brachial plexus, spinal nerves and cervical nerve roots (almost all nerves between neck and hand).
Note this test is particularily useful for the median nerve.

name three indications for performing an ULNT2m.
A
- symptoms provoked with scapular depression
- symptoms localized to median nerve
- shoulder problem present, so want to avoid shoulder abduction (so use this in preference to ULNT1)

- posterior shoulder pain
- lateral elbow pain
- dorsal F/A pain

A
symptoms localized to ulnar nerve
examples: anterior shoulder, axilla, medal forearm to hypothenar area, C8 radiculopathy, TOS, CuTS, Guyon’s canal syndrome
