Q

Why the patient might abduct & then ER the arm instead of simple ER ?

A

External rotation for RC
frozen shoulder
capsular tightness
Stiffness 2ary to fracture

17
Q

Observation: IR in frozen shoulder

A
  • Might protract their shoulder as a compensation
  • might be unable to bring hand behind back (~T12 level)
