at 16 yrs there was no difference between incidence of ovarian cancer
there was a difference in stage specific cancer though - in the MMS group there were higher rates of stage I disease cf stage III and IV disease
because the mortality was unaffected the conclusion of the study was that a screening program could not be recommended.
