Ban on hetereosexual civil partnerships was declared incompatible with the ECHR.
2021 Scottish Parliament
Tried to sign bills which included the European charter of local self government and the UN convention of the rights of child - the SC ruled that this was outside the legislative competence of the the Scottish parliament (defending parliamentary sovereignty)
2016 Chris Grayling
SC ruled that the Lord Chancellor - Chris Grayling - had acted ultra vires by amending the 2012 Aid Act using secondary legislation to introduce a “residence test” - restricting legal aid for individuals based on their residency in the UK.

Prisoner voting case - parliament essentially ignored the ruling, only choosing to change the law in 2018 to allow prisoners awaiting trial and prisoners out on bail to vote.
