Increasing life expectancy, as people live longer, the number of old people increases.
baby booms- 1940s and 60s babys retiring.
Falling birth rate- ratio of elderly to young is greater.

More elderly living in poverty- working population isnt large enough to provide a better pension

Encouraging women to have children- pronatal policy like in france.
