What happens when the APU fire handle is pulled
A
- Fuel is cut off to APU
- A stop signal is sent to the ESU/DESU
- The fire extinguisher system arms
- The directional control valve is set to the APU position

APU fire warning
A
- Attempt to confirm fire or flames
- If the aircraft is in flight the single most important action is for the pilot to land
- If AC electrical power is unavailable, only the reserve fire bottle can be discharged and fire extinguishers for the #2 engine are lost
