RISOM scapula elevation, depression, protraction, retraction
- pt side-lying
RISOM shoulder horizontal abduction
pt supine, sh & elb flexed 90° with sh IR and forearm neutral (can also be done sitting with same arm position)

RISOM shoulder flexion

MMT - elbow flexion
- Palpate Biceps brachii
- Palpate Brachialis & Brachioradialis
MMT elbow extension
Palpate Triceps
MMT - forearm supination and pronation
Forearm supinators
Palpate Supinator and biceps
Gravity negligible grading system*
Forearm pronators
Palpate Pronator teres & pronator quadrates

RISOM - wrist
All wrist mvts: pt sitting F/A pronated, wrist in neutral position (0 degree)
RISOM - fingers
Finger mvts: pt sitting, fingers in neutral position (as for MMT)
MMT - wrist (flexion, extension, radial deviation, ulnar deviation)
Wrist flexion: FCR + FCU
Wrist extension: ECRL + ECRB + ECU
Wrist RD: FCR & ECRL & ECRB
Wrist UD: FCU & ECU
MMT - wrist (flexor carpi ulnaris, flexor carpi radialis, extensor carpi ulnaris, and extensor carpi radialis longus/brevis)

Flexor carpi radialis (FCR): Wrist flexion and radial deviation
