ENGINE FAILURE OR FIRE OR MASTER WARNING DURING TAKEOFF SPEED ABOVE V1
- Rotate - VR
- Landing Gear - UP (after positive rate-of-climb)
- Climb - V2 until 1500 feet AGL
ENGINE FAILURE OR FIRE OR MASTER WARNING DURING TAKEOFF SPEED BELOW V1
- Brakes - AS REQUIRED
- Throttles - IDLE
- Speed Brakes - EXTEND
- Thrust Reverser - DEPLOY ON UNAFFECTED ENGINE
ENGINE FIRE
- Throttle (Affected Engine) - IDLE
If Light Remains On - ENGINE FIRE Switchlight (Affected Engine) - LIFT COVER and PUSH
- Either Illuminated BOTTLE ARMED Switchlight - PUSH
ENGINE FAILURE DURING COUPLED APPROACH
- Power (Operating Engine) - INCREASED AS REQUIRED
- Autopilot and Yaw Damper - OFF
- Airspeed - Vapp (minimum)
- Rudder Trim - TRIM TOWARD OPERATING ENGINE AS DESIRED
- Flaps - T.O. & APPR (15)
ENGINE RESTART - TWO ENGINES
- IGNITION Switches - BOTH ON
- FUEL BOOST Switches - BOTH ON
- Throttles - IDLE
- If Altitude Allows - INCREASE AIRSPEED TO 200 KIAS
THRUST REVERSERS INADVERTENT DEPLOYMENT DURING TAKEOFF SPEED BELOW V1
- Brakes - AS REQUIRED
- Throttles - IDLE
- Speed Brakes - EXTEND
- Thrust Reverser - BOTH DEPLOY
THRUST REVERSERS INADVERTENT DEPLOYMENT DURING TAKEOFF SPEED ABOVE V1
- Emergency STOW switch (Affected Engine) - EMER
- After establishing a positive rate, Landing Gear - RETRACT; DO NOT EXCEEN 125 KIAS UNTIL T/R STOWS
- At 400 Feet, Flaps - RETRACT AT V2 + 10 AND ACCELERATE; DO NOT EXCEEN 200 KIAS AFTER T/R STOWS
THRUST REVERSERS INADVERTENT IN-FLIGHT DEPLOYMENT
- Control Wheel/AP TRIM DISC Button - GRIP DISENGAGE
- Emergency STOW Switch (Affected Engine) - EMER
- Throttle (Affected Engine) - CHECK IDLE
- Airspeed - REDUCE to 125 KIAS OR BELOW; AFTER T/R STOWS, DO NOT EXCEEN 200 KIAS
THRUST REVERSER UNLOCK LIGHT ON IN FLIGHT
- Emergency STOW Switch (Affected Engine) - EMER
2. Thrust Reverser Levers - CHECK T/R LEVERS AT STOWED (FULL FORWARD) POSITION
CAB ALT (CABIN DECOMPRESSION)
- Oxygen Masks - DON and 100% OXYGEN
- Microphone Switches - MIC OXY MASK
- Emergency Descent - AS REQUIRED
EMERGENCY DESCENT
- AP TRIM DISC Button - PUSH
- Throttles - IDLE
- Speed Brakes - EXTEND
- Airplane Pitch Attitude - INITIALLY TARGET 25 NOSE DOWN ATTITUDE
ELECTRICAL FIRE OR SMOKE
- Oxygen Makes - DON and EMER
2. Microphone Switches - MIC OXY MASK
BATT O’TEMP (BATTERY OVERTEMPERATURE-NiCad ONLY)
- Amperage - NOTE
- BATT Switch - EMER
- Amperage - NOTE DECREASE
AUTOPILOT MALFUNCTION
- AP TRIM DISC Button - PUSH
INADVERTENT STALL (STICK SHAKER, BUFFET, AND/OR ROLL-OFF)
- Autopilot - DISCONNECT
- Pitch Attitude - REDUCE
- Roll Attitude - LEVEL
- Throttles - MAXIMUM THRUST
