Q

Plato’s transition from myth to logos

A

Plato will initiate the transition from myth to logos: Abandoning tradition of the oral passed myth, and jumping into “logos” which would be reason. Trying to reach an understanding with other communities through thoughts and worlds. He defends in his republic his aversion to poets, since they were not based in true events and could corrupt the readers.
