Urticaria:
(Hives) Allergic reaction.
Pale red elected patches
Verruca:
(Warts) Rounded epidermal growths caused by viruses.
Acne:
comedos, papules, pustules
Comedos:
(Blackheads) Discolored dried sebum plugging an excretory skin duct.
Cyst:
Closed sac or pouch in or under the skin that contains fluid, semifluid or solid material.
Papule:
Solid elevated lesion that may be the same color as skin.
<1cm in diameter
Nodule:
Palpable circumscribed lesion that extends into derma area.
0.6-2cm in diameter
larger and deeper than a papule
Tumor:
Solid elevated lesion that extends into dermal and subcutaneous layers.
> 2cm in diameter
Wheal:
Elevated, firm, rounded lesion with localized skin edema (swelling).
Varies in size, shape and color
Paler in center, itching
Vesicle:
Elevated circumscribed, fluid-filled lesion.
<0.5cm in diameter
Poison ivy, shingles, chicken pox
Pustule:
Small, raised, circumscribed lesion that contains puss.
<1cm in diameter
Acne, psoriasis, furnacle, scabies
Bullia:
A large blister.
> 1cm in diameter
2nd degree burns, severe poison oak and poison ivy
Macule:
Flat, discolored circumscribed lesion of any size.
Papule:
Solid, elevated lesion. Warts, moles, pimples
<1cm in diameter
Abscess:
Localized collection of pus at the site of infection.
