Petechia:
Ex: elderly bruising
Small hemorrhagic spot on the skin.
Abrasion:
Example: dermabrasion
Scraping away a portion of skin or mucous membrane as a result of injury or by mechanical mechanical means, cosmetic purposes.
Ecchymosis:
Ex: black eye
(Bruise) Discoloration on the skin consisting of large, irregularly formed hemorrhagic areas. Color changes:
blue-black
brown or yellow
Contusion:
Ex: dark skin coloration
A bruise. Injury in which the skin is not broken.
Hematoma:
Ex: severe swelling
Elevated, localized collection of blood trapped under the skin, usually the result of trauma.
Eczema:
Inflammatory skin disease.
Redness, itching, blisters
Psoriasis:
Chronic skin disease. (Worse than eczema)
Itchy red patches, silvery scales
Can be triggered by stress
Hirsutism:
Excessive growth of hair in unusual places.
Bearded lady
Alopecia:
Absence or loss of hair, hair will not grow.

Small crack-like sore or break exposing the dermis; usually red.
Urticaria:
(Hives) Allergic reaction of the skin.

Verruca:
(Warts) Rounded epidermal growths caused by viruses.
Impetigo:
Isolated pustules, encrusted & rupture
Scabies:
Contagious disease transmitted by mites.
Tiinea:
(Ringworm) Fungal infection.
Can spread by scratching
Cyst:
Enclosed sac, definite wall, contains fluid, solid, semi-fluid
Ulcer:
A lesion of the skin.
Inflammation, necrosis, sloughing of damaged tissue
Decubitus Ulcer:
(Bedsore) Skin ulceration caused by prolonged pressure.
Vitiligo:
Localized loss of skin pigmentation.
Milk-white patches
Erythema
Reddening of the skin
Furuncles are infections caused by:

A cluster of Furuncles in the subcutaneous tissue is called:

Staphylococcus
Type of bacteria, can look like pimples or boils. Can turn into Impetigo.
