Define: tolerance range
The variation of particular environmental conditions within which an organism can survive and reproduce.

Air/water temperature, salinity, soil composition, rainfall, light intensity…

Define: limiting factor
Any factor that approaches or exceeds the limits of tolerance for an organism
How can an organism survive is a factor is above or below it’s tolerance range?
If it has adaptations or changes its environment.
