Declarative Sentence

-Straightforward and do not require a
response or action from the listener or
reader
Interrogative Sentence
-asks a question and is used to
seek information, clarification, or to
engage in conversation.
-It typically ends with a question
mark.
Imperative Sentence
-gives a command, makes a request,
or expresses a directive.
-It is used to tell someone to do
something or to give instructions.
-It typically ends with a period or an
exclamation mark
Exclamatory Sentence
-expresses strong emotion, excitement,
surprise, or emphasis
-convey a strong feeling or
reaction
