Schizoid PD
Do not enjoy social interactions, lack close relationships, self-focused, closed/distant, aloof, etc
Symptoms (4+)
Neither desires nor enjoys close relationships, solitary activities, low pleasure in activities, lack friendships, indifferent to criticisms
Schizoid PD Etiology and Tx
Unsatisfied need for contact
Distant/abusive relations
Deficiencies in thinking/can’t pick up social cues
Maladaptive
Help identify benefits of positive relationships
Social skills
Group therapy
Schizotypy PD
Social isolation, flat affect, odd thinking patterns
Appearance may be eccentric
May have psychotic episodes in stressful situations
