Why would Henry not be able to replicate his sieges throughout the whole of France?
France = twice as big as England and population = 3 times the size, took time to lay seige, had to leave garrison (soldiers) behind to ensure town or castle secured after seige
what happened at the siege of Caen?
violence, rape, pillaging - civilians decapitated - Henry V came across a woman who had been decapitated still with baby in her arms - upon seeing this ordered that priests, women and children not be murdered/ brutally harmed
