Tropical drinks usually consist of two juices, pineapple and orange, combined wit several kinds of rum. These drinks are usually very high in alcohol content and are usually served in Collins or Hurricane glass. There are various forms of rum: Light, Dark, Spiced, and 151. Rum is a product of sugar, sugar cane, or sugar molasses. Other ingredients can be coconut juice or other fruit juices.
Pina Colada
a. Collins/Hurricane glass, ice.
b. 1-1/4 oz. of Rum *
c. Fill with Pina Colada Mix
d. garnish with cherry
Hurricane
a. Collins/Hurricane glass, ice.
b. 1 oz. Light Rum
c. 1 oz. Dark Rum
d. 3 oz. Pineapple Juice
e. 3 oz. Orange Juice
f. grenadine, Float 1/2 oz. 151 rum
g. garnish with cherry
Mai Tai
a. Collins/Hurricane glass, ice
b. 1 oz. Lighht Rum
c. 1 o. Dark Rum
d. 1/2 oz. Triple Sec.
e. 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
f. Fill with sweet and sour
g. garnish with cherry
Planters Punch
a. Collins/Hurricane glass
b. 3 drops of bitters, squeeze lemon
c. 1 oz. Light Rum
d. 1 oz. dark rum
e. 3 oz. Pineapple Juice
f. 3 oz. Orange Juice
g. 1/2 oz. of Grenadine
h. 1/2 oz. Triple Sec
j. Garnish with cherry
Blue Hawaiian
a. Collins/Hurricane glass, ice.
b. 1-1/2 oz. Rum
c. 1 oz. Blue Curacao
d. 3 oz. Pineapple Juice
e. Garnish with cherry
Bahama Mama
a. Collins/Hurricane glass, ice.
b. 1 oz. Malibu
c. 1 oz. 151 rum
d. 3 oz. Pineapple Juice
e. 3 oz. Orange Juice
f. 1/2 oz. Grenadine
g. garnish cherry
Presbyterian
a. Rocks glass, ice.
b. 1-1/4 oz. of Liquor (guest will specify)
c. fill with soda
d. top with ginger ale (sub 7-up with splash of coke)
e. garnish-twist
Scotch & Soda
a. Rocks glass with ice
b. 1-1/4 oz. of Scotch
c. Fill with soda
d. optional- twist

Crown & Coke
a. Rocks glass with ice
b. 1-1/4 oz. Crown royal
c. fill with coke
Any Liquor can be used
Vodka & RedBull

c. Fill with Red Bull
Rum & coke
