What is a Proposition?
The content of your assertion, the underlying meaning of what you’re saying
What are the three different types of knowledge and state the difference between them
Propositional knowledge - “Knowledge that” (e.g John knows the capital of France is Paris)
Aquaintance knowledge - “Knowledge of” (e.e Susan knows John)
Ability knowledge - “Knowledge how” (e.g Susan knows how to swim)
What is an assertion?
A linguistic act, either spoken or written, that has a truth value
What is Truth value?
The state of being either true, or false, or indeterminate. (Declarative statements have truth value)(The past and present have truth value, but the future in indeterminate as it has not happened yet and there is no way of knowing)
What is a belief?
Propositional attitude of truth

Obscure - The definition should not be more complicated than the original term
Negative - Definitions should not be made up of what it is not (e.g. defining “a good act” as “one that is not wrong”
Ad Hoc - The definition should not be created to answer a particular problem
