What are the clinical features of trigeminal neuralgia?
A
Brief electric shock-like pains, abrupt in onset and termination, limited to one or more divisions of the trigeminal nerve.
Pain repetitive, severe and brief.
Pain is commonly evoked by light touch. Spontaneous.
Unilateral, lancinating facial pain

A
Irritative lesion involving the trigeminal root zone
