What are signs and symptoms of tension-type headache? (5)
A
Tight band/pressure; constant character and generalised/bilateral; can radiate forward from occipital region; can remain unabated for weeks and months; not aggravated by ADL

How is it managed?
A
Avoid precipitants, avoid opioids or xs use of analgesia, physiotherapy, medication

aspirin, paracetamol or an NSAID

aspirin, paracetamol, an NSAID or amitriptyline

When is tension-type classed as chronic?
A
