First line: Metformin
N.b., if CHF, add SGLT2 inhibitor (‘flozin’)
Second line:
Add any of the following:
An SGLT-2 inhibitor (‘flozin’)
DPP-4 inhibitor (‘gliptin’).
Pioglitazone.
A sulfonylurea.
