Shock
A
- follow drsabcd
- calm patient
- manage severe injuries
- maintain body heat
- give small amounts of water
- monitor breathing, response, skin colour, pulse
- if lose of consciousness, place into recovery position

External breathing
A
- follow drsabcd
- lie patient down
- put pressure on wound (preferably with glove)
- clean + bandage + elevate
- if leaks through bandage over again
- prepare for shock if bleeding persists

Hyperthermia
A
- drsabcd
- lie person in cool environment
- immerse in cool water (up to neck)
- wet with water, ice packs, fan continuously

Hypothermia
A
- move out of cold, warm dry area
- remove wet clothing
- gentle movements, no rubbing for warmth r

Heart attack
A

- see if they have prescribed medication
- source defib

Stroke
A
- call 000
- put in recovery position if not breathing properly
- don’t let fall unconscious
- begin CPR if they do
- DRSABCD if unconscious

- control bleeding if any
- reassure patient, ask to stay still
- apply ice packs for limited bruising and pain relief
