How to perform objective marker?
For ROM- AROM text, must be in position to observe
For pain- AROM with VAS (0-10)
What does a test movement involve and why do we do it?
Feel where resistance/pain occurs
Slow, controlled application of force
What are the main points for therapist handling? Then positioning?
Are you effective/safe in isolating joint
Confidence
Do you need to keep readjusting
Can the position be maintained for the full treatment duration
Different grades use what movements?
GI-small amplitude away from resistance
GII- large amplitude up to resistance
GIII- large amplitude through resistance
GIV- small amplitude at end of resistance
How to recheck objective marker post treatment?
For ROM- AROM test, should have increased ROM
For pain- AROM with VAS, should be decreased pain (0-10)
Must be same test as pre treatment
