Description of what to do for

  1. Grade I
  2. Grade II
  3. Grade III
  4. Grade IV
  5. Grade V
A
  1. Small aptitude rhythmic oscillating movement at the beginning of ROM. Manage pain and spasm
  2. Large amplitude rhythmic oscillating movement within midrange of movement up to onset of resistance. Manage pain and spasm
  3. Large amplitude rhythmic oscillating movement up to the point of limitation in ROM. Use to gain motion within the joint, stretches capsule & ct structures
  4. Small amplitude rhythmic oscillating movement at very end ROM. Used to gain motion within the joint
  5. Small amplitude, quick thrust at end of range. Accompanied by popping sound and requires training
