A
- Small aptitude rhythmic oscillating movement at the beginning of ROM. Manage pain and spasm
- Large amplitude rhythmic oscillating movement within midrange of movement up to onset of resistance. Manage pain and spasm
- Large amplitude rhythmic oscillating movement up to the point of limitation in ROM. Use to gain motion within the joint, stretches capsule & ct structures
- Small amplitude rhythmic oscillating movement at very end ROM. Used to gain motion within the joint
- Small amplitude, quick thrust at end of range. Accompanied by popping sound and requires training

A
Pain
Low- 3 sets- 120 seconds duration
Mod- 2 sets- 90 seconds duration
High- 1 set- 60 seconds duration
ROM
Low- 6 sets- 90 seconds duration
Mod- 5 sets- 60 seconds duration
High- 4 sets- 30 seconds duration
