What is the management for malignant mesothelioma?
A
- Pemetrexed and cisplatin chemotherapy can improve survival
- Surgery
- Pleurodesis and indwelling intra-pleural drain may help

What is the staging and treatment of NSCLC?
A
- Lobectomy - T1a-b, N0, M0
- Radical radiotherapy - Stage I, II, III
- Chemotherapy +/- radiotherapy - more advanced disease, may be targeting EGFR (atuximab)

What is the staging and treatment of SCLC?
A
- Consider surgery for limited stage disease
- Chemotherapy +/- radiotherapy if well enough
- Palliation - radiotherapy for bronchial obstruction, haemoptysis etc.
- Endobronchial therapy: tracheal stenting, cryotherapy, laser, brachytherapy
- Pleural drainage/pleurodesis for symptomatic pleural effusions
- Analgesia, steroids, anti-emetics, bronchodilators
