Q
What does the argument say about the argument “unlike race sex is biological, it makes gender which is a social construct psychological.”
A
- She argues this holds the societal acceptance of transgenderiam hostage to just being biological account of sex gender
This is problematic because:
- not all trans people say they felt it all along this shows it was not psychological or hormonal
- to set the debate over biological v. Social bias of sex gender identity before we know transgenderism is a real phenomenon
- what bias do we have to hurt so many to have a good life. Biological and social bias of sex gender should not affect societies acceptance of trans individuals

Q
A way to justify transgenderism and debunk transracialism is to take issue with the possibility for someone to change their race
A
- if sex is a matter of biology then it is a matter of biological features that you can change but race is a matter of biological ancestry that is not changeable
- the problem: racial groupings of people are arbitrary from a racial point of view because where and how you grew up not your ancestors. If it does not rely of feature then it is practically possible depending on society’s willingness to adjust its fuels for racial categories to accommodate self identification
