Blood cells

A
  • Erythrocytes (red blood cells) = transport o2 & carbon dioxide from lung to body cells
  • Leukocytes (white blood cells) = defence against infection & foreign substances
  • Platelets (thrombocytes) cell fragments = essential in blood clotting
