Androgynous
combination of masculine and feminine characteristics. Sexual ambiguity may be found in fashion, gender identity, sexual identity, or sexual lifestyle.

A slang term for being identified for the gender of origin
Cisgender
Having a gender identity same as biological origin, acceptable in society
Cross Dresser
refers to the act of wearing clothing and other accoutrements commonly associated with the opposite sex
Drag
is a man who dresses, and often acts, with exaggerated femininity or vs. versa
Gay
a term that primarily refers to a homosexual person or the trait of being homosexual
Gender Dysphonia
the formal diagnosis used by psychologists and physicians to describe people who experience significant dysphonia (discontent) with the sex they were assigned at birth and/or the gender roles associated with that sex.
Gender Identity
is a person’s private sense, and subjective experience, of their own gender
Gender queer
two or more genders
Genital reconstructive surgery (GRS)
refers to surgery performed on the genitalia of infants, children, or adults for the purpose of correcting birth defects or other anatomic abnormalities, or for the purpose of transforming genitalia associated with one sex into genitalia of the other sex.
Hermaphrodite
an organism that has reproductive organs normally associated with both male and female sexes
Heterosexual
romantic attraction, sexual attraction or sexual behavior between persons of opposite sex or gender
Homosexual
romantic attraction, sexual attraction or sexual behavior between members of the same sex or gender.
Intersexual
a general term used for a variety of conditions in which a person is born with a reproductive or sexual anatomy that doesn’t seem to fit the typical definitions of female or male.
Lesbian
a female who expresses romantic or sexual attraction to other females
