  • all coag factors and plasma proteins, including labile coag factors (V and VIII)
  • Good for rodenticide tox, hemorrhage from DIC or liver disease

Cryoprecipitate

A

primarily VIII and XIII, vWF, fibrinogen, and fibronectin at 50 – 80% of the levels of FFP but in a smaller volume.

A

sufficient quantities of most coag factors except for those in cryoprecipitate (NOT VIII and XIII, vWF, fibrinogen, and fibronectin)

Stored plasma

A
  • significantly lower conc of V and VIII (labile factors) but has adequate levels of vit-K dependent factors (II, VI, IX, X) and other plasma proteins.
  • Good for rodenticide tox also!
