Define chalazium
Cyst in eyelid due to inflammation in melbomian gland

Eyelids point outwards

To align the optical centers of the lenses used (in an instrument or glasses) to patients eyes
What do visual field tests measure?
The sensitivity of the central and or peripheral visual fields
Define anisometropia
Difference in refractive power of the two eyes
When performing hirschberg reflex binocularly and there is a difference between the two pupils what does his suggest? What are normal findings?
Strabismus.
Normal findings are when the reflection of the cornea in both eyes are pupil center or slightly nasal
What is the menomic for recording eom movements?
Safe (smooth, accurate, full and extensive)
Define hypertropia
One eye is deviated upwards
In screenings when testing eoms if a child does not have safe what happens?
They need to be referred for an eye e exam
