-RNA Polymerase comes in and splits each strand in half (replicates the bottom strand)
-RNA polymerase can’t make thymine, so it makes uracil (all T’s Replaced with U’s)
-Pulls out messenger RNA
(unzips then rezips the DNA)

• mRNA is read
• Original codon from the mRNA is used to find the Amino Acid, so methionine is the anticodon of AUG
