What is transcription?
A
The process of making pre mRNA using part of DNA as a template

What does an enzyme do on a specific part of the DNA?
A
It causes 2 strands to separate and expose the nucleotide bases in that region

What is known as the temporal strand?
A
The nucleotide base on one of the 2 DNA strands

What does the template strand do?
A
It pairs with their complementary nucleotides from the pool which is present in the nucleus.

What does the enzyme RNA polymerase do?
A
It moves along the strand and joins the nucleotides together to form a pre mRNA molecule
