Marsden Hartley
(1874-1970): Italian-born artist who was part of a wealthy family led by two unstable parents (Her mom Ella diagnosed her with “Lesbian Personality Disorder”. She lived in Paris and Capri for much of her life and dealt with mental health issues.
Romaine Brooks
A person who is continually moving to live. It is very nomadic, and although not always for political or financial reasons, it often is.
Migrant
was a large part of the artistic movement and influenced the art and artists coming out of both America and Europe.
