Trans-atlantic
a 19th century ideology (set of beliefs) referring to the UN being destined to expand across North America, their beliefs lead them to justify the displacement, and genocide of native Americans.
“promised land by god”- they framed manifest destiny as a divine right, ignoring humanity of indigenous habitats and sovereignty.
“white christians are the best stewards” - a colonial belief that white christians were set with beliefs on being superior care takers, having indigenous people being deemed unfit to manage their own lands

Euro-Americans historically having conferred privilege and dominance meanwhile having non white people such as natives be marginalized and oppressed. (racism)
