What was the 30 year war?

A

A war that broke out in 1618 and ended in 1648 was a religious war between Protestants and Catholics spread through France and eventually the whole Roman Empire. It ended in 1648 with the Treaty of Westphalia that allowed principalities and cities that chose their own religion

  • Important culture changes: Renaissance artistic development Enlightenment ( Philosophical movement, people rights) and Reformation ( Christan movement) allowed them to escape social and intellectual bongoures of the middle ages.
  • Political consolidation of strong centralized states: kings had enough power to control all
  • Technology advances and development of capitalism: made new Industrial Technologies that did not require human labor like painting press and mills

The crusades of the 12 and 13th centuries started a movement of European knights to the Middle East that simulated change that benefit Venice and Genoa and grew them wealthy

A

Resonance happened to begin with and Italy was an intellectual Artistic and culture flourishing. Emphasis on modern learning thoughts was reflected through painting and art. Rebirth, Supporters, the northern renaissance was more religious, printing press
